Kendriya Vidyalaya NDA, Pune is stepping forward with the following initiatives.
1. Computer pupil ratio: As on date it is 1:17 with 110 computers in 3 Computer Labs Kendriya Vidyalayas NDA Pune.
2. e-Classrooms
Kendriya Vidyalaya NDA has established a total 13 e-Classrooms are equipped Interactive Board, Interactive Pads, Multimedia Projectors, Visualizer and Desktop Computers.
3. Digital Language Lab
Language Labs have been established in 2017-18 with 30 computers and Language lab software.
Language lab is a platform for comprehensive and interactive digital content catering to the listening and speaking skills, put to use in a stimulating lab environment. It caters to four language skills: Listening, speaking, reading and writing
4. Website
School website on centrally managed platform on NIC domain are being developed and managed by school level by PGT CS on regular basis
5. KV-Shaala Darpan
KV-Shaala Dapran is an initiative of Ministry of Human Resource and Development, Government of India, aimed at leveraging Information & Communication Technology (ICT) for enhancing the academic delivery system in all the schools under Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan.
6. Online admission
In current session 2019-20, a total 1429 no. of candidates were registered in Class I through online Admission portal. The Provisional select lists and wait list in all categories were generate through online shortlisting. It facilitated hassle-free Admission Process to all stakeholders.
7. Online fee
Fee collection of all students is being done through online mode since 2015-16.
8. Online Transfer of Employees
The transfer of KVS employees are being done through online cloud based software since the year 2016-17
9. Modernization of Science Labs
To enhance the skills and potential of students, Modernization of existing Science labs (Junior Science Lab, Physics, Chemistry, Biology) is in process.
